As recently as 1997, Matt dropped out of college with very few qualifications. He was working as a fitness instructor in his hometown of Swindon, Wiltshire. Already an advanced martial artist, having achieved Black Belts in various martial arts disciplines, his dream was to turn his passion into a full time career.

Matt moved to Devon to fulfil his ambition of opening his own Martial Arts School and to work full time as an instructor. He then began to network with the world's leaders in martial arts and implemented new ideas and systems into his newly opened martial arts school in Braunton.

The results were astonishing, and quickly led to Matt becoming one of the UK 's most successful martial arts instructor. At just 21 years of age, Matt then set himself a goal to open 120 Martial Arts Academies - a target he reached in just 18 months.

The natural next step was to franchise his Martial Arts brand. He wanted to introduce his highly professional programme to a larger audience.In double quick time, Matt developed his popular curriculum into a fine tuned system of success. He handpicked his first Franchisees and they set off to achieve stunning results
– both in terms of students' development, and in terms of growing an affluent business, simply by following the Matt Fiddes step by step business plan. Every small step is mapped out for the new franchisee.

Not surprisingly, word spread and his Franchise organisation grew to over 250 locations in just two years, and continues to grow.

Mr Jackson calls upon Matt to be his bodyguard whenever he visits the UK . Uri Geller has worked with Matt on many projects including a successful collaboration on a fitness video series.

From the martial arts world Master Fiddes only works with the very best. 7th dan black belt Master Dave Kovar is his current instructor. Master Kovar is renowned for bringing the highest teaching standards to the martial arts classroom. President of the Martial Arts Teachers Association [MATA] and 7th dan black belt, Master John Graden works closely with Master Fiddes to insure his instructors teach at the highest level.

At age 26, Matt runs the Worlds most Successful Martial Arts Franchise. He has guided Schools in countries such as Germany, Holland, Australia ,New Zealand, Ireland and Switzerland .
